The Japanese Head Spa Mastery course is a full day, 8-hour course. It starts at 9am and runs until 5pm, with a lunch break at noon. The day is packed with practical information, including its origins, head and scalp conditions and care, safety standards, room set up, products and supplies, client care and service, marketing and business growth. In the afternoon, you’ll have a hands-on, practical session where you’ll learn step-by-step our protocol of refined Japanese Head Spa techniques on a live model.

The Japanese Head Spa Mastery course was created by Sharon Thonissen, a licensed esthetician with extensive experience in the field. Sharon is a Cidesco graduate and holds a UC Irvine Spa and Hospitality Management certificate, as well as many certificates in User Experience and Service Design. She has over 24 years of experience as an esthetician and business owner, and has taught employees and fellow estheticians, as well as given CEU classes. In creating this course, Sharon drew on her own expertise and experience, as well as conducting extensive research to ensure that the course material is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date. Participants can trust that they are learning from a knowledgeable and experienced professional who is passionate about sharing her skills and insights with others.
